Lora Bocking, our senior sales consultant, recently spent a girls holiday on the beautiful White Island of Ibiza. There are many timeshare resorts available on the island. Here are her hazy thoughts on her time away!!
TLG: Why Ibiza, what made this island your holiday destination this year?
LB: Why not?! Ibiza is a beautiful island with some of the best nightlife! Plus, it’s only a couple of hours flight, making it the perfect destination for a short break away.
TLG: Was this your first time in Ibiza?
LB: No! This was (I believe) my 8th or 9th time in Ibiza… It is literally one of my most favourite places in the world!
TLG: Being only a short flight from the UK, do you think you will return to Ibiza or any other of the Balearic Islands soon?
LB: Not this year, no. But there is a possibility I will be returning next year.
TLG: Which part of the island did you stay?
LB: This time we stayed in San Antonio, but I usually go to Santa Eulalia which is only about a 20 minute drive away from San Antonio. If ever I was to own a timeshare, it would be in Santa Eulalia.
TLG: When did you travel? And what was the weather like during your stay?
LB: The end of June/beginning of July and the weather was glorious!
TLG: Did you experience the famous nightlife and clubs?
LB: Yes I did!! We went to see the one and only David Guetta at Pacha!! Best night!
TLG: Did you travel alone or with others?
LB: There were 13 of us! We went as 13 strong independent women, we came home as 13 weak, broken little girls!! Ibiza you were amazing, but Ibiza you broke us!! Haha.
TLG: Did you eat out in the local restaurants, what was your favourite food on your holiday?
LB: Yes, we enjoyed a very civilised meal at Savannah whilst watching the sun go down… The Thai Beef Salad there was amazing. We also visited another restaurant fairly near to the Sunset strip called Villa Mercedes. I enjoyed one of the best Steak’s I have ever had whilst listening to live music being played softly in the background. We were surrounded by solar powered fairy lights which came on as the sun went down… very idyllic.
TLG: Ibiza has a party island reputation, it appeals to all age groups and has some stunning locations, and did you travel around the island and take in any of the sites?
LB: This particular holiday it was all about partying and recovering by the pool. However we did manage the beach one day, Cala Bassa, located on the west coast, it was lovely, it was just a tad too hot for us that day. This was the day after we had been to Ocean Beach and so it was safe to say we were all struggling with the heat a bit that day!
