Georgina, our Buyers Consultant, recently spent a week in Spain at Marriott Marbella Beach Club. Here are her thoughts on her time away:
TLG: Being in the timeshare industry for so long, of all the resorts to choose from, why Marriott Marbella Beach Club?
GF: It is one of our best sellers and I can see why. The location (right by Nikki Beach) is outstanding. The apartments are pristine and beautiful and the off peak week was peaceful and relaxing.
TLG: You rented this week directly from an owner, was the process easy to make the booking.
GF: Indeed it was. Easy and quick.
TLG: Have you ever been to a Marriott Resort before? If not, why?
GF: Never! I do not know why. I must be crazy as I will be back!
TLG: What were the resort facilities like?
GF: Amazing. The swimming pools are split into adult and family with and indoor and outdoor pool for each. The restaurant was top class and food and drinks at the beach bar were perfect. The happy hours were a great way to sample and save money on cocktails. The activities were numerous including Spanish lessons, dance classes and yoga, the majority at no extra cost to owners or guests. I also noticed a varied amount of activities for children.
TLG: Did you travel alone or with others?
GF: With my mother. She deserved to be spoilt and certainly was.
TLG: How were your apartment facilities?
GF: There was everything you could possibly imagine. I was most delighted with the on-suite to the master bedroom which has a very powerful Jacuzzi. The other bedroom also had an en-suite. Huge balcony with great view, three TVs and a DVD player, a full kitchen and even a utility room. Nothing was omitted.
TLG: Did you use the resort facilities, restaurants etc.
GF: Yes we used everything. The resort was so incredible we only left a few times. Once we ate at ‘Toni’s’ on Nikki beach, over-looking the med. I would highly recommend it. There are also supermarkets and a shopping arcade with a ten minute stroll but the ‘Mercado’ on the resort was great as well, with tasty treats for all.
TLG: Staying at this resort, do you feel you can help potential new owners better with any enquiry?
GF: There is no doubt in my mind of the above.
TLG: Do you believe you gain valuable resort knowledge from you trip?
GF: Yes it is the best way to truly understand the resort. I plan to go to many more resorts. I felt proud that I had sold this to so many of my clients and now fully understand the positive feedback, repeat purchases and referrals.
It’s All About the Memories
TLG: What were the best moments of this week?
GF: Swimming in the med, happy hour and quality time with my Mother.
TLG: Did you get value for money?
GF: Absolutely! Renting through Travel and Leisure will save clients a fortune as compared to renting direct. Purchasing will save even more and allow clients to access a varied exchange inventory.
TLG: Would you recommend Marriott Marbella Beach Club to others and why?
GF: For sure I would recommend this resort, it will give you the ultimate holiday experience, making memories to be enjoyed long after the tans fade and years pass by……
